Hello everyone! My name is Chelsea Hawkins. I am from Anderson, South Carolina. I graduated from USC in 2014 with a degree in Sport & Entertainment Management and I am now in my third semester working towards my Masters degree in Education Technology. I was also a member of the softball team all 4 years and I am currently the Graduate-Assistant. In the Sport and Entertainment industry, technology is used a lot, so I want to further my education and learn more about how I can incorporate it into my business. My current job is a Graduate Assistant for the USC softball team. We use technology very often, probably more than anyone would think. We are constantly analyzing our swings or others so we can learn and develop the right techniques. My past work experience has been with USSSA Baseball and Softball and I also worked at a hitting facility giving fitness and hitting instructions. I am constantly using my iPad to analyze my clients and making them able to go back and look at something that they may be doing wrong. At USSSA I was constantly having to design webpages and flyers to be able to send out for future tournaments and clinics. My future career plans are to coach college softball at the Division 1 level. Technology is constantly improving and it has always been something that interest me, so I can't wait to learn more and be able to use it in my future business!
